Easy-To-Do Cross Stitch

Add a simple joy on your pillowcases with this easy-to-do cross stitch. All you need is thread and a little bit of time and you can make any basic appear beautiful.

That pattern you see requires a basic cross stitch technique. See image below and instructions...

Thread a needle with three strands of red embroidery floss. Starting at the flower's center, bring the needle up from the back of the fabric and make your first stitch, leaving a 1"-long tail of thread. Make the next few stitches over the tail. (this will secure the tail without creating a bulky knot.) Continue filling out the design. When thread runs short, pull your needle through the last stitches and clip ends short. Rethread and stitch to finish.

I tried to scan the pattern you can use for your pillowcase.

Welcome to Mimoe's Crafts

Hi everyone and welcome to Mimoe's Crafts. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a crafter, but I don't know why it took me so long to make a blog dedicated to arts and crafts. Although I love to do a lot of things, I focus more on cross stitching and embroidery so you'll see more of that here. Hope you'll come by again soon and visit my next posts. See yah!
